Valve manifolds are essential tools for controlling fluid flow. These devices are widely used by
maintenance personnel, operators, and industrial professionals to effectively manage various
processes.
Find here a complete guide on what type of accessories are included in Valves and Manifolds
Applications in the field of Instrumentation, which is used along with the pressure gauges and
pressure transmitter.
Needle Valve: The first one is the needle valve, the needle valve which is very uncommonly used in the field of instrumentation in the process lines. The basic function of this needle valve is to provide the isolation between the process and instrument. So over here this pressure valve is mounted in the needle valve and this is the inline connection between the needle valve and the pressure gauge. The sectional view represents the needle valve which is actuated up and down by the stem and screw assembly which allows the flow to pass from the left to right.
Specifications
- The Body : The first and the very important element is the body. The body can be made up of SS316 or SS30. It can be of brass which is less costly.
- Connection: The next one is the connection type which can be of threaded process connection or as pipe type that is of 6mm 5mm or 10mm pipe. The pipe type is nothing but the compressing fitting basically.
- Instrument Connection: The next one is the instrument connection at which the instrument gets fixed on one side of this needle valve.
- Process Connection: The next one is the process connection the line at which valves gets fitted and mounted.
The instrument connection and the process connection can be very different upon the requirement that can be of threaded one that is half inch bsp and bt or any other threaded. Here it is denoted as half bsp.
