Working Principle
The main principle of reflex glass is based on difference in reflective indices of liquid and gas. The outer side of the glass is flat but the inner side of glass has prism groves. Once the light enters the surface of the groves in liquid space, the light is absorbed and gives clear representation of liquid. The reflex level gauge shows the inside level in dark black colour.
When there is no liquid and space is empty or vapours, then the light enters in level gauge the light completely reflect due to groves inside the level gauge. The reflex level gauge shows the empty of vapour space in silver or white colour. The reflex level gauge employs liquid chamber, reflex glass, cushion gasket, sealing gasket and flange cover.

Firstly, the Construction of The reflex level gauge begins with liquid entering the chamber and the reflex glass which shows the visual representation of liquid. The sealing gasket protects the process leakage between liquid chamber and the reflex glass. The cushion gasket is installed between the reflex glass and flange cover.
